In January 2015 I delivered a CPD whole-day session for teachers in a Primary school in East London. The aim was to explore drawing as an expanded medium and find new ways of using it in the classroom to support the curriculum. My aim was to show teachers that drawing isn’t a pencil and a piece of paper and that to learn to draw we must first learn to see.
Some of the activities included: constant line drawing, drawing without looking at the paper, volume line drawing, large scale drawing using large sticks, collaborative drawing, drawing while walking, etc. These are the few images that I managed to get that day.
